A wet living room ceiling led me to find my bathtub drain leaking. I took out the waste plug assembly and would like to know the proper way to assemble it. Thanks to a T. Love response on 27 Dec I understand how the pieces fit together, but I need some details.
There was a lot of plumber’s dope between the waste plug assembly and the tub. Any instructions on how I should put it back together.
The house is only 2 years old so my problem is obviously from poor workmanship which I would like to prevent this time.
